LOCATION   

The building is located on the east side of Norfolk Street approximately twenty meters south of the intersection of Norfolk and Quebec streets in the downtown core area of Guelph. Guelph General Hospital is located within a two kilometers range of the medical centre. There is easy access to the building by both public and private transit.

The building was constructed in two phases. The southern portion of the building, which comprises of three stories, was built in 1979 and the interior portion of this building was completed and fully occupied in 1983. A two storey addition was constructed on the north side of the building in 1986. Both the original building and the addition are concrete block structures with poured concrete foundations, poured concrete floor and flat metal roof decks. The building has a frontage of 201.56 feet on Norfolk Street and is located on approximately half an acre of land. There is on site parking for 26 tenant vehicles located at the rear of the building. Metered street parking in front of the building and on adjacent streets along with a municipal parking lot with 26 parking spaces, a two minute walk from the building, provides adequate parking for the patients.
